How to find freelance gigs with an AI agent

Use Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent to find fresh freelance gigs by skill and budget, with the competition, the client's track record and a link to apply.

The best freelance gigs go fast. Good briefs from good clients collect dozens of proposals within hours, and scrolling a marketplace feed to find them eats the time you'd rather spend on the work. An AI agent connected to Enricho does the scrolling for you. You describe the work and budget you want, and it comes back with fresh gigs you can compare in one place.

What do you need?

  1. An AI agent that supports MCP servers, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor.
  2. An Enricho account. You create it when you first connect, with no password and no card. You get 1,000 free credits to start (200 gigs).

How do you connect Enricho?

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, add a custom connector named Enricho with the URL https://mcp.enricho.co/mcp, and sign in with your email. In ChatGPT, add the Enricho app from the apps directory. In Claude Code, run:

claude mcp add --transport http enricho https://mcp.enricho.co/mcp

Other agents are covered on the integrations page.

How do you ask for gigs?

Lead with the skill or kind of work, then the budget:

Use Enricho to find the newest Shopify developer gigs with a fixed
budget over $500. Show me 5 with the budget, applicants and client rating.

Useful things to add:

  1. Hourly or fixed: and a minimum or maximum rate or budget.
  2. Experience level: entry, intermediate or expert work.
  3. Project length: under a month, 1 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months or longer.
  4. Hours: part-time or full-time commitment.
  5. The kind of client: first-time clients, or clients with 10 or more past hires.

Gigs come newest first. Ask for "most relevant first" if you'd rather see the closest matches.

What does it cost?

Start with a free preview: up to 3 sample gigs with the title, budget and skills, so you can check the search before you pay. Full gigs, with the client, the competition and the link to apply, cost 5 credits each, so your agent tells you the cost and asks first. Gigs you already got and empty results are free.

How do you pick the gigs worth your time?

Each gig shows how many freelancers applied and how many are interviewing, so you can skip the crowded ones:

Sort these gigs by fewest applicants and drop any with more than 20
proposals or a client rating under 4.5.

Read how to pick freelance clients who pay with AI for the client checks that matter most.

How do you apply?

Each gig has a link to its page on the freelance marketplace, where you apply with your own account. Your agent never applies or contacts clients for you, but it can draft a proposal from the brief and your profile:

Here is my profile. Draft a short proposal for the gig with the fewest
applicants. Open with how I'd solve their problem, not with my bio.

How do you keep looking without starting over?

Ask the same question again later in the day to catch new gigs. Gigs you already got are free, so repeats only cost you for what's new.
