Enricho docs

Enricho is a remote MCP server for people and company data. Add it to your AI assistant once; it signs you in, then searches, looks up and enriches people and companies whenever you ask.

Getting started

Quickstart

From zero to your first results in about a minute.

Add the server
Paste https://mcp.enricho.co/mcp into your client as a custom connector or MCP server (see Connect a client).

Sign in
Your client opens Enricho's sign-in page. Enter your email and the 6-digit code we send. No password; free accounts get 100 credits a month.

Try: “Use Enricho to find heads of sales at SaaS companies in Germany with 51–200 employees.”

Setup

Connect a client

Every client uses the same server URL. Pick yours:

In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Enricho and paste the server URL.
Click Connect and sign in to Enricho.
In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Enricho is turned on.

The first time you connect, enter your email and the 6-digit code we send you. There's no password, and new accounts start on the Free plan with 100 credits a month.

API keys

For scripts, CI jobs and headless agents that can't sign in with OAuth. Keys start with enr_ and spend your account's credits.

Send the key on every request to the MCP endpoint. A JSON-RPC call looks like this:

To get a key, email support@enricho.co from the address on your Enricho account. Treat it like a password: anyone with the key can spend your credits.

Tools

Your assistant picks the tools; you just ask. Good sessions start with directory_filters so filters match real values, then search narrowly and look up only the records you need.

People

person_search1 credit per page

Find people by title, seniority, role, location, company, industry, company size or skill. Returns a compact page without emails; at least one filter is required.

job_title: Substring of the job title, e.g. "marketing".
seniority: Exact value from directory_filters, e.g. "vp".
role: Substring of the role, e.g. "sales".
country_code / city: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code; exact city name.
company_id / company_domain: Only people at this company.
industry / employee_size_band / skill: Values from directory_filters.
has_email: Only people with an email on file.
limit: Results per page, 1–100 (default 20).
cursor: next_cursor from the previous page; keep the other filters the same.

person_lookup1 credit

The full record for one person: contact details, job, company, skills and social profiles.

person_idrequired: From person_search or person_enrich.

person_enrich1 credit if matched

Match a person from an email, or from a name plus company domain, and return the full record with a match type and confidence.

email: Best identifier; matches primary or alternate emails.
full_name or first_name + last_name: Use with company_domain when the email is unknown.
company_domain: Required when matching by name.

Companies

company_search1 credit per page

Find companies by name, domain, industry, headquarters country or size. At least one filter is required.

name: Substring of the company name.
domain: Exact domain, e.g. "stripe.com".
industry / employee_size_band: Exact values from directory_filters.
country_code: Headquarters country, ISO 3166-1 alpha-2.
limit: Results per page, 1–100 (default 20).
cursor: next_cursor from the previous page; keep the other filters the same.

company_lookup1 credit

The full record for one company.

company_id: From a search result.
domain: Used when company_id is empty.

company_enrich1 credit if matched

Match a company from a domain or exact name and return the full record with a confidence score.

domain: Best identifier.
name: Exact company name, used when domain is empty.

Directory and account

directory_filtersFree

Valid seniorities, roles, industries, countries, size bands and skills, with approximate counts. Call it before searching.

account_usageFree

Your plan, credits left (monthly and bought) and when credits refill.

account_upgradeFree

A secure checkout link to subscribe to or switch plans. Nothing is charged until you pay.

Credits and limits

Search (person or company): 1 credit per page with results
Lookup (person or company): 1 credit
Enrichment: 1 credit, only when matched
Filters, usage, billing tools: Free
Monthly refill: 1st of each month (UTC)
Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per connection

Unused monthly credits don't roll over. Credits from packs never expire and are spent after your monthly credits.
Ask your assistant to run account_usage any time to see your plan, balance and refill date.
We email you when 20% of your monthly credits are left, and again if you run out.

Account

Billing

Everything happens from the chat: ask your assistant and it uses these tools.

account_upgrade

Subscribe to or switch plans. Returns a secure checkout link; nothing is charged until you pay. Switching ends the old subscription.

account_buy_credits

Buy 10,000-credit packs ($25 each) that never expire.

account_billing_portal

Update your card, download invoices or cancel. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid month.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, which also handles tax and invoices.

Troubleshooting

“Sign in to Enricho” or 401 errors

Your session expired or the key is wrong. Reconnect the connector (or run /mcp in Claude Code) and sign in again; check that API keys start with enr_.

“You don't have enough credits” (402)

Your balance is empty. Ask your assistant for account_usage, then account_upgrade or account_buy_credits. Monthly credits refill on the 1st.

“Too many requests” (429)

You hit 60 requests a minute. Wait a minute; ask your assistant to use narrower filters instead of paging through large result sets.

Searches return nothing

Filters like seniority, industry and size band need exact values. Ask your assistant to call directory_filters first. Empty searches are free.

My assistant isn't using Enricho

Make sure the connector is enabled for the chat, and mention Enricho by name in your request.

No email with the sign-in code

Check spam for a message from reply@enricho.co, or use “Send a new code” on the sign-in page. Codes expire after 15 minutes.

Email support@enricho.co with the email address on your Enricho account and, if something failed, the tool name and the time it happened.
